I thought it was important for you to know what we at La Belle Fleur Floral Boutique Ltd are doing to lessen our impact on the environment as we conduct our day to day business. We have a naturally "green" product, however, we work with importers to find farms which use natural pesticides and provide fair working conditions for their employees. We have always had an in-house recycling program for glass, plastic, metal, newsprint and cardboard. More recently, we have tried to separate green waste from garbage and utilize the city's green waste program. After years of searching, we have found cellophane that is 100% biodegradable and our bouquets and gift baskets are wrapped in this great product. Our plastic shopping bags are also 100% biodegradable and our business cards are made from 100% recycled paper with chlorine-free ink. The paper in our printers is made from 100% post consumer recycled paper. The cleaning products that we use are phosphate-free and environmentally friendly.

As a mother, I whole-heartedly believe that we should leave this planet in better condition than when we received it, for our children and the generations to follow.
